TYPES OF PALLETISED STORAGE SYSTEMS
Depending on your warehouse size, the types of products you need to store, and the handling equipment you already have or are prepared to invest in, there are two main types of palletised racking to consider: Selective (Adjustable) Pallet Racking (APR) and High-Density (Compact) Pallet Racking.
The configuration options available within these two systems reflect the degree of trade-off between the selectivity of individual pallets and floor space utilisation. The more limited your floor space the more you will need to “compact” your storage and therefore forego pallet selectivity.
